BBC Radio 3 - Postcards From Composers

Nainita has been commissioned to compose a piece for the Postcards from Composers project. Nainita's piece has been written for Solo Double Bass performed by Iain Crawford, double bassist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Other composers featured include Jonny Greenwood, James MacMillan, Anna Clyne, Daniel Kidane, Murray Gold, and Jocelyn Pook.
On the Radio 3 Breakfast programme that launched in April 2020, 30-second musical messages of hope by over 40 UK-based composers have been broadcast to listeners. Each piece is written for solo instrumentalists and has been performed by musicians from the BBC orchestras.
The piece has been broadcast on Radio 3 alongside BBC Sounds and on the BBC website.
