ALL MY CHILDREN – BBC film with poet Simon Armitage

All My Children, in collaboration with renowned Simon Armitage CBE, Century Films and Director Sam Benstead, is a unique film.

As hull celebrates its year as European City of Culture in 2017, this film gives a poetic voice to the women who live in this city – but who are rarely heard. Blending poetry with beautiful crafted documentary storytelling techniques, we follow the inspiring stories of 5 women at a critical juncture in their lives.

This is a remarkable film with heart, emotional resonance and depth.

Simon Armitage worked on award winning films Feltham Sings, Songbirds and Drinking for England and following on from the success of Mumbai High, Nainita is writing a bespoke score to accompany the poems and film.
